Welcome to the Banbury Folk Festival website.

The friendly weekend festival of concerts, ceilidhs, dancing, singing and entertainment with three main concert venues. All major artists will give two, if not three, performances and a priority system will be in place to ensure that you will see your favourite performer at least once. The weekend also features: acoustic concerts, folk theatre, workshops, singarounds, music sessions, a Big Sing, Acoustic café, Mudcat café, Folk clubs, canalside events, story telling, craft and trade fair and a Big Sunday Breakfast Singaround. Indoor and Outdoor camping is available with a free shuttle bus to and from the campsites.

Our new Shanty event this year will bring the tang of the sea to landlocked Banbury. Featuring Hanging Johnny and others, the event will be a good rousing singaround sure to raise the roof.
